What is ZoukLab?
ZoukLab is more than a dance school—it's a creative laboratory where dancers of all levels come together to explore, grow, and connect through the art of Brazilian Zouk.
Founded with the intention of creating a platform for dancers to build strong foundations, explore musicality, and be part of a welcoming community where everyone feels at home.
At ZoukLab, we believe in quality over quantity. Our groups are kept intentionally smaller to ensure high-quality learning, personalized feedback, and deeper connections with our students.
The Dance
What is Brazilian Zouk?
Brazilian Zouk is a partner dance that originated in Brazil in the 1990s. Known for its flowing movements, deep connection, and musical interpretation, Zouk has captivated dancers worldwide with its unique expressiveness.
The dance is characterized by its smooth, wave-like body movements, head movements for the follower, and the close connection between partners. It's a conversation without words, where two become one.
Zouk is danced to a variety of music including R&B, pop remixes, and traditional Zouk music. Whether you're looking for a new hobby, a way to meet people, or a form of artistic expression, Brazilian Zouk offers something special for everyone.
Meet Your Teachers
Founder & Instructor
Bojana
From Montenegro, Bojana has been dancing since age 12, starting with competitive ballroom, and teaching since 17. After discovering Brazilian Zouk at 25 in Belgium, she founded ZoukLab to share her passion through technique-focused, personalized teaching in smaller groups where every dancer receives individual attention and feels at home.

Instructor
Lukáš
From the Czech Republic, Lukáš has explored partner dancing since age 15 across ballroom, swing, latin, and tango before falling in love with Zouk seven years ago. His unique background as a classically trained pianist since age six enriches his teaching with deep musical understanding, helping students connect movement to rhythm and phrasing in powerful ways.
