Ellen is a former climber, surfer, and partner acrobat who spent many years upside down and flipping on top of people before discovering Brazilian dances in 2023. Her adventurous spirit and love for physical challenges naturally led her to explore new forms of movement and connection.

Shortly after diving into forró, Ellen found ZoukLab in Antwerp. The free try-out class at 't Werkhuys with Bojana and Lukas gave her such a warm and cozy feeling that she didn't hesitate—she was immediately committed to her weekly meetup with what would become her Zouk family.

When she started, Ellen told herself not to get addicted to yet another hobby, but here we are... She learned both following and leading and has already visited quite a few festivals and marathons, fully immersing herself in the vibrant Zouk community across Europe.

As a community-minded member, Ellen couldn't resist contributing her part to helping build and grow the lovely Zouk community. She's been helping ZoukLab with their promo and online platforms.

Ellen found home in this community and hopes to be dancing many more years to come, continuing to foster the welcoming and supportive atmosphere that first drew her to ZoukLab.
